CitiMortgage client assistance representatives will be available to consult with homeowners having difficulty making their mortgage payments or facing potential foreclosure to determine what solutions may be open to them. Homeowners whose loans are serviced by other mortgage companies will be able to consult with counselors from CredAbility, The Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Atlanta on the same topics. Educational presentations will be featured throughout the event on topics including: how the mortgage modification process works; the various assistance programs available to borrowers; and potential alternatives to foreclosure when the homeowner is no longer able or does not wish to remain in the home.
