An agreement between 10 mortgage servicers and federal bank regulators was announced today, January 7, 2013, regarding the Independent Foreclosure Review process. Citi believes this is a positive development that will provide benefits to homeowners. CitiMortgage customers who paid interest on their mortgage loan during the 2011 tax year should have received a year-end statement, also known as IRS Form 1098 Mortgage Interest Statement, in their Mortgage Account Statement or in a separate mailing by January 31.   Customers who have registered for online account maintenance may also access their year end statement and information from the CitiMortgage website.
